Today In the Kuwaiti High Life
Today, my friend invited me to the Kuwaiti ambassador’s independence day reception. It was amaaazing. The food was phenomenal, and the desserts like baklava, kunefe, and others were too delicious. Teaching people about Islam is so wonderful. I love being able to break the stereotyping that everyone becomes a victim to at some point in time. And the best part is, noone minds it. People who are not muslims like learning about other religions (just like I like learning about others as well). And I like seeing them amazed and interested in how they might have thought things differently before.
